Delta Dental President and CEO Joseph Nagle announced that he will retire effective July 1, 2019.

Nagle has led Delta Dental for 27 years.

“I am privileged to have been at the helm of Rhode Island’s leading dental benefits provider during a time of unprecedented growth, financial success and strategic diversification. During this time, Delta Dental’s membership more than tripled, annual revenues surpassed $270 million and financial reserves increased more than seven-fold to $137 million. However, I am most proud of our commitment to philanthropy, having contributed more than $10 million to various charities over the last decade alone, as proof that Delta Dental is part of the fabric of our community,” said Nagle.
