1. Who or what has had the biggest influence on your professional career?

I have been influenced professionally by so many great mentors; starting at home, where I learned many important core values from my parents and relatives; later on in the classrooms with my professors, and now as a Credit Analyst at Citizens Bank. They have each contributed in some way to the person I am today.

2. What inspires you in your day-to-day life and in your work?

I feel inspired to know that I’m able to contribute in various capacities towards helping our society become better than what it is today. Whether helping in the office to address business credit issues or by going out in the community to help people with financial literacy, being a part of something bigger always inspires me to continue to try my best every day.

3. How are you helping to make a positive difference in the lives of others?

I always try to be available for others by volunteering in the community. I have been helped by so many people throughout my life, so I feel like I have a social compromise to help others in my community. I have always enjoyed being able to have a positive impact in the lives of others.

4. As an Emerging Leader, what have you learned from success and failure?

We all have days where things do not go as planned. But I think one should always keep an open mind and remember that doors are opening and closing all the time. As long as we are always moving towards our goals – even if they are small steps – you will eventually reach your objective.

5. If there was one thing people could know about Rhode Island, what would you want it to be?

To me, Rhode Island is a place with a very strong sense of community, where on a daily basis you see the willingness of its people to make our state the best it can be. I feel lucky that my family chose Rhode Island to call home.
