Carrie Bridges Feliz
Feliz is a graduate of Duke University and the Boston University School of Public Health and then was recruited by Rhode Island to launch a Refugee Health Program.

Feliz also worked as the Director of Strategic Community Partnerships for the Providence Public School Department.
Prior to Rhode Island, Feliz was one of 25 Master's level public health professionals selected for the Public Health Prevention Service, a 3 year training and service fellowship in public health program management, with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, Georgia.
Feliz was a recipient of the Urban League's 2010 President's Award for Excellence, the 2011 Women's Center of RI Women of Excellence Community Award, and the 2012 YWCA of Rhode Island Woman of Achievement Award.
Feliz currently serves on the Boards of the Paul Cuffee Charter School, Breakthrough Providence, and the Rhode Island Public Health Institute.
Rhode Island Free Clinic
The Rhode Island Free Clinic was founded in 1999 and provides comprehensive primary health care for uninsured Rhode Islanders ages 19 and older who earn too much to qualify for Medicaid but not enough to afford health insurance.
