City of Warwick announces Independence Day celebration
The City of Warwick will hold their annual Independence Day fireworks display on Tuesday, July 3 at the Oakland Beach seawall.

“Our fireworks display is one of our most popular events each year, and offers a wonderful way for family and friends to gather to celebrate our nation’s independence. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy an evening by the water. I wish all of our residents a safe and happy Fourth of July,” said Warwick Mayor Joseph Solomon.

The fireworks will begin at approximately 9 p.m. with a rain date set for July 5.

The city warns that “due to the popularity of the event, attendees are advised that parking restrictions will be strictly enforced and to expect traffic delays, particularly along Oakland Beach Avenue. The fireworks can also be viewed at City Park, which is located off Asylum Road.”
