Kids will have the chance to get behind the wheel of working vehicles and meet their operators during a special summer series at Providence Children’s Museum. Climb aboard a fire truck, sit atop a giant digger, examine the equipment in an ambulance and more – explore a different vehicle each week!

Next up ambulance and technicians from Brown University Emergency Medical Services on August 13.

Children's Garden Explorations

Audubon Society of Rhode Island (Fisherville Brook Wildlife Refuge)

Join Audubon in the children's garden at Fisherville Brook. These hour-long programs will include stories, games and activities to help explore the garden. Children will also make a small craft to take home. Come for one day or once a month during the summer to watch how the garden transforms itself through the season. Observe tadpoles grow in the pond and watch the flowers bloom. This program is appropriate for children ages 2 to 5.
