NEW: Voting Interrupted in Central Falls Precinct by Gas Leak

A voting precinct in Central Falls closed down earlier today for about 30 minutes after someone inside smelled a potential gas leak.

The Fire Department was called down to the scene and shut down the precinct until it was cleared for reentry 30 minutes later.

"Voting in that one precinct was delayed for at least a half an hour," said Robert Kando, Executive Director of the RI Board of Elections.
