Angelo Maccarone of Greenville Dies at 86

Angelo was the owner and operator of Cady Jewelry for many years. More recently, he worked at Foxwoods for 19 years before retiring. He was an avid soccer fan and player, most notably for the Fall River All-Stars, where they played a match against Manchester United. He was also the captain of Circolo Giovanni 23rd, the amateur soccer team of Holy Ghost Church.

Angelo is survived by his loving children, Donna M. Seabury and her husband David, Joseph A. Maccarone and his wife Kristen and Steven Maccarone and his wife Jodie; loving Papa of Deidre, Nadia, Logan, Nicholas and Alex. He was the dear brother of Gennaro Maccarone.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday, January 19th at 10:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Thursday, January 18th from 4:00 – 7:00 pm.
