Carolyn R. Roy (Lomax) of Cranston Dies at 85

Carolyn R. Roy (Lomax), 85, of Cranston, died Wednesday, May 17th, at Briarcliffe Manor. She was the wife of the late Robert D. Roy.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Catherine (Horrigan) Lomax. Mrs. Roy was a homemaker and had lived in Cranston for the past forty years. She was a communicant of Saint Mark Church.

 

She leaves two sons, Gregg R. Roy and his wife, Donna of Cranston and Mark R. Roy and his wife, Melanie of Barrington. She was the grandmother of Alexandra Roy and Daniel Roy. She was the mother of the late Gary D. Roy and sister of the late Raymond Lomax, Jr.

 

Her funeral will be Wednesday, May 24th at 9 AM at the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Mark Church, 9 Garden Court, Cranston, at 10 AM. Calling hours are Tuesday, 4-7 PM. Burial will be private.
