U.S. Marine Edwin A. English II of Providence Dies at 57

Edwin A. English II, 57, of Providence, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024, surrounded by his sister and brothers at Rhode Island Hospital.

He was a graduate of La Salle Academy and served as a member of the United States Marine Corps.

Eddy is the son of the late Edwin A. English and Vivian D. English of Providence. He leaves a son behind, William English of Raeford, North Carolina.

He also leaves behind a sister Renee D. English of Providence, John F. English of Westerly and Michael Patrick English of Providence.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the J. F. Skeffington Funeral Home and Cremations, 925 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence. Family and friends are invited to calling hours at the funeral home Monday, January 15th from 5-7 pm.

Funeral services are on Tuesday, January 16th at 10 am at St Raymond Church, 1240 North Main Street, Providence, followed by a burial in Swan Point Cemetery on Blackstone Boulevard Providence with military honors.
