Scott J. Camara Obituary of Warwick Dies at 27

 

Scott J. Camara, age 27, of Warwick, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024. Born in Providence, he was the treasured son of James and Lynn (Pierson) Hellman.

A graduate of Warwick Vets Highschool, he not only ran a successful business, Supreme Soft Wash, he went on to his career in Trade work, most recently employed as a Foreman with RICON Construction and a Local Union Member of 271. 

 

An all-around athlete, Scott excelled in everything he did, but especially enjoyed playing and watching Basketball. He had magnetic energy which allowed him to gain many friends over the years, and was known to be the life of the party. He truly cherished the moments big and small that he shared with his family and friends. His presence will be sorely missed by all that knew him. He was not only an amazing friend, but an amazing dog dad to Lucki. 

 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Justine Hellman, Megan Hellman, and Nicole Furney and her husband Robert; maternal grandmother, Barbara Pierson; paternal grandmother, Audrey Hellman; uncles, Russell Pierson and Ken Hellman; nieces and nephews, Mya and Javian Hellman, Meadow and Levi Hashway, and Landon Furney; and many beloved cousins and friends. He was the grandson of the late Joseph Pierson and James G. Hellman, and nephew of the late Kevin Hellman. 

 

Relatives and friends are invited to join Scott’s Funeral Service on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at 7:00 PM in the Thomas and Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave, Warwick. Visitation will be held prior from 4:00-7:00 PM. Burial Private.
