103 Year Old RI Native Nominated for ESPN Fan Hall of Fame

103 Year old Rhode Island Native Mary Mollerberg has been nominated for induction into the ESPN Fan Hall of Fame. Mollerberg lived in East Providence until she was 98 years old, she has since moved to Maine, and has been a die hard Red Sox and PawSox fan her entire life. 

"Either watching or listening to the games vs the Yankees I always had my hands ready to give those Yankee players the "wammie" up to bat or pitching" Mollerberg said. 

Mollerberg went to her first Red Sox game a couple of summers ago for her 100th birthday and the Red Sox honored her by putting her name and picture up on the scoreboard.

"Having my first time at Fenway MY DAY made me LOVE the Red Sox that much more. I know what it is like to be a die hard, FAITHFUL, heartbroken, Happy and PROUD Boston Red Sox Fan!" Mollerberg said of her day at Fenway Park and her beloved Red Sox.
