PC Overcomes Sloppy Play to Beat DePaul 73-64 for 5th Straight Win

Emmitt Holt contributes 14 points to lead PC.
In a sloppy game, the Providence College Friars overcame 18 turnovers en route to their fifth straight win, a 73-64 victory over the DePaul Blue Demons on Tuesday night at the Dunkin' Donuts Center. DePaul turned the ball over 21 times in the game.

"The game was a litte sloppy, a lot of fouls, but it just was one of those oppurtunities for us to grab a win and keep it moving. This time of the year there are a lot of things you can complain about, but the number one thing you want to do is win," said Providence head coach Ed Cooley.

The win moves the Friars to 9-8 in the Big East and 19-11 overall with one regular season game left.
