RI Top 10: High School Football Performances- Oct. 25, 26
Several new faces crack this week's Top 10 Football Performances. Some familiar names continued to perform like stars in big games, and some new stars were born this past weekend on the gridiron.

Jose Saves the Day
Jose Santos ran for 2 4th quarter touchdowns as Coventry rallied to beat Mt. Hope 22-14 in Division 2-A. Coventry is now 3-2 and Mt. Hope falls to 2-3 in divisional action.
3-Pronged Attack
The 3-headed monster in the Exeter/West Greenwich running game was on full display in their 49-20 win over Central Falls on Saturday. Dwight Anderson, Justin Hornoff, and Dustin VanLuven combined for 258 yards and 5 touchdowns on the ground as EWG improved to 5-0 in Division 4 play.
Dynamic Duo
Burrillville’s John Thornhill ran for over 200 yards and scored a pair of touchdowns as the Broncos raced past Tiverton 42-13. Riley Tupper had 2 receiving touchdowns and also brought a punt return back to the house for the Broncos, who improve to 2-3 in Division 3.
Can't Contain Cosmopulos
Moses Brown Quarterback Eric Cosmopulos ran for a score and also tossed a pair of touchdown passes as the Quakers blew out Middletown 31-7. Moses Brown is now in sole possession of second place in Division 3 at 5-1.
Martin Brings the Boom
Barrington’s John Martin had 3 sacks and 5 tackles for loss as the Eagles knocked off South Kingstown 20-3 in Division 1. The win moves the Eagles to 5-0 in league play. The Rebels are now 1-4 in Division 1.
Don't Kick it to Ingram
Bevin Ingram retuned a pair of kickoffs for touchdowns and added a TD on the ground as North Providence sped past PCD/Wheeler/Juanita Sanchez 54-6 in Division 4. North Providence remains unbeaten in division play at 3-0.
Baptista Beats Tolman
East Providence’s Austin Baptista ran for 4 touchdowns as the Townies beat Tolman 35-20 in Division 1. It was the first win of the year for East Providence in league play.
Zleh goes Beast Mode
Mt. Pleasant Running Back Randolph Zleh also scored 4 TDs on Friday night (2 on the ground and 2 through the air) in leading the Kilties to a 46-0 trouncing of East Greenwich. Mt. Pleasant improves to 6-0 in Division 3 while EG falls to 3-2.
4 Scores for Blue
Remington Blue ran for 164 yards and 4 touchdowns as Hendricken beat Portsmouth 41-21 in the game of the week in Division 1. The Hawks move to 6-0 in Division 1 play, while the Patriots drop to 3-2 on the season.
Moss is Boss
Lincoln’s Thaddeus Moss (son of former NFL Wide Receiver Randy Moss) caught 2 TD passes, ran for a score, and returned a fumble for a touchdown as the Lions won a 29-26 thriller over Narragansett. The win was Lincoln's first in Division 3.
