URI Basketball Signs Guard McGlynn For 2015-16 Season

“We are tremendously excited to add Four to our Rhode Island basketball family. During this offseason, one of our main objectives is to add perimeter shooting and scoring to our lineup and we feel as though we have done that with Four,” said head coach Dan Hurley.

McGlynn is also a 82% free throw shooter and finished the 2014-15 season ranked fifth in the country in free throw percentage.
McGlynn started his career at the University of Vermont and has poured in 1,148 points and knocked down 194 three-pointers in his three years.
“Four is a proven offensive weapon, having scored over 1,100 career points while connecting on close to 40% from beyond the arc and over 90% from the foul line. His experience, shot-making, and basketball IQ makes us a much more dangerous offensive team,” Hurley said.
