Shell Art Craft Workshop

Join us at Tomaquag Museum to make your own shell art. Learn the history and culture of coastal tribes while drawing eastern woodland Native designs on quahog shells. Materials included and workshop is free with museum admission.

Coggeshall Farm Museum

Saturday, Aug 16 1:00pm to 4:00pm

Kids and their families will get a chance to learn how to cook farm raised produce over the fire at the hearth of the Colonial Tenant Farmhouse. We'll start by selecting seasonal produce, investigate old recipes in an 18th century cookbook, and then prepare a dish the way it was done 200 years ago!

Children’s Hour

Tomaquag Museum will host Children’s Hour for children ages 5 and under at 390 Summit Road, Exeter. Children’s Hour is to explore Native American culture through storytelling, creative explorations, music, song and dance, and hands-on inquiry. This month’s focus is Pow Wow.
